This is a case brought to this court by writ of certiorari to the department of labor and industry to review the affirmance of an award to James Burt under the Michigan workmen’s compensa*701tion act for the loss of an eye. The Munising Wooden-ware Company is a corporation operating a factory at Munising, Michigan, for the manufacture of household utensils, butter dishes and veneers.
