Elizabeth E. Banks appeals from a May 5, 1998 judgment of United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Ellen Bree Burns, Judge), entered following a jury verdict in Banks’s favor. The jury found defendant The Travelers Companies (“Travelers”) liable under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (the “ADEA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621 et seq., for discharging Banks in January 1994 on account of age, and awarded her $77,127 in damages.
