CARROLL, United States Magistrate Judge.
Plaintiffs’ decedent died as a result of injuries sustained when the 1985 Chevrolet S10 pickup with extended cab she was driving collided with the rear of a van. This is a design-defect case in which plaintiffs allege that the lock mechanism of the seat-belt failed to function, leaving the driver without the protection of the restraint system when the S10 made impact.
