Trazet Taymea Williams was charged with trafficking cocaine. OCGA § 16-13-31 (a) (1). The State brings this appeal pursuant to OCGA § 5-7-1 (4) from the trial court’s grant of Williams’s motion to suppress cocaine found in a warrantless search of her apartment.

The evidence presented at the hearing on the motion showed that on the night of June 19, 1992, Officers J. W. Downing and Alan Holloway of the Clayton County Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding a possible burglary. The call originated at apartment 2H on Highway 85, and the officers went to that location.…
