The questions involved under this appeal are purely of law and arose out of these facts. On July 31, 1934, Louis Kaufman came into possession of a Pontiac automobile under a bailment lease from Laylock Motors Company, a dealer in new and used cars. The lease was in the usual form and contained an option to the bailee to purchase the ear at the end of the term upon compliance with its provisions and the payment of an additional sum of one dollar.
