PERRY, Judge:

The appellant was convicted by general court-martial of conspiracy to sell lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), possession of LSD, and sale of LSD, as well as absence without leave, in violation of Articles 92 and 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892 and 886, respectively.
