The state, with the permission of the trial court, 1 appeals from the judgments of the court dismissing four charges brought against the defendant, Glenys Rios, following her successful completion of a period of accelerated rehabilitation. The state claims that the court abused its discretion in granting accelerated rehabilitation to this defendant because (1) the accelerated rehabilitation statute, General Statutes § 54-56e, could not properly be applied to the defendant because she allegedly committed the crimes at issue during two separate and unrelated incidents occurring…
