EPHRAIM HANSON, Justice.

On December 12, 1932, appellant herein was adjudged guilty of bastardy in a proceeding before the district court of Salt Lake county. By the decree entered in said proceeding defendant was ordered to pay the mother of the child involved for its support and education the sum of $200i in quarterly payments of $50 each for the first year, and the sum of $150 each year thereafter for seventeen years.
