Plaintiff Board of Trustees of the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund (the “Fund”) brings this action pursu ant to the Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendments Act of 1980 (“MPPAA”), Pub.L. No. 96-364, amending the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq. The Fund is the “plan sponsor” of the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Plan (the “Plan”).
