The plaintiff, Mammoth City, December 24, 1925, presented an affidavit or petition to this court wherein it is alleged that the Chief Consolidated Mining Company, a corporation, and the Grand Central Mining Company, a corporation, during the years of 1923 and 1924, were the owners and in possession of “mines and mining claims,” giving the names of about 20 claims, situate in Mammoth City, Juab county, Utah, from which both of such companies during such years made large extractions of ore, the net proceeds of which amounted approximately to $1,500,000; that it was the duty of such companies to…
