MEMORANDUM OPINION

DAY, United States Magistrate Judge.

This products liability case arises from injuries Plaintiff sustained on January 24,1997, when his hand was crushed by an automotive lift sometimes referred to as a “frame machine.” Plaintiff asserts that the machine descended faster than applicable industry standards trapping Plaintiff and resulting in injury.
