GEORGE W. LATIMER, Judge:
The accused in this case appeals from a conviction of larceny in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 715. The sentence imposed was dismissal from the service, total forfeitures of all pay and allowances, and confinement at hard labor for five years. The convening authority approved the findings and sentence except for the period of confinement which he reduced to two years.
