OPINION

HOLLIS HORTON, Justice.

In this appeal, we must determine whether we have appellate jurisdiction over a biennial-review order that the trial court entered in James Richards’s sexually violent predator commitment case. See Tex. Health & Safety Code Ann. § 841.102 (West 2010) (providing sexually violent predators a biennial review). In 2003, a jury determined that Richards was a sexually violent predator, and he was committed for treatment under the provisions of title 11, chapter 841 of the Texas Health & Safety Code.
