The Texas Civil Commitment Office (TCCO) filed this appeal from the district court's amended order denying a plea to the jurisdiction and motion to transfer venue and transferring to Travis County the underlying cause involving John H. Hartshorn's civil commitment under the sexually violent predator (SVP) statute. See Tex. Health & Safety Code §§ 841.001 -.153.
