The Mankato Citizens Telephone Company obtained from tbe city of Mankato a franchise to construct telephone lines in that city, and for that purpose to erect poles in the public streets and alleys, and string wires thereon. During such construction, plaintiff’s infant child was injured by having its hands caught in a pulley through which a rope was being drawn. One end of the rope was pulled by a team of horses.
