McKAY, Justice.

This is a suit on a banker’s blanket bond. Appellant, White Rock National Bank of Dallas (the bank), brought suit against ap-pellee, United States Fire Insurance Company (the bonding company), on an indemnity agreement for losses sustained by reason of a settlement paid and attorney’s fees incurred by the bank as a result of a suit by a depositor against the bank on a contract and for negligence. Trial was to the court, and a take-nothing judgment was rendered against the bank, with the trial court holding that the bank’s losses in the settled suit were not covered by the bond.…
