MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER ON ADMISSIBILITY OF P CREASED DNA ANALYSIS

GOLD, District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

The United States of America (hereinafter “the Government”) filed a motion for a pretrial determination of the admissibility of the results of DNA analysis performed by the FBI laboratory. Defendant Liddell moved to exclude the DNA analysis claiming it was untimely. 1 Thereafter, Defendant Liddell re quested funds to appoint an expert who could review the DNA analysis and assist Liddell’s counsel prior to, and at, trial.
