Appellant, Marc Staff, a former Colorado County Sheriffs Deputy, brought a declaratory judgment action against Colorado County Sheriff R.H. “Curly” Wied after he was terminated from his position as a peace officer. Staff sought declaratory relief, injunctive relief, and attorney’s fees. Both Staff and Sheriff Wied moved for summary judgment, and the trial court granted Wied’s summary judgment motion and denied Staffs motion.
