MOORE, Justice.

Under his first assignment of error defendant contends that the trial court erred in denying defendant’s motion requesting the court to direct the State to rescind any orders or suggestions made to potential or actual witnesses to refuse to discuss the case with defendant’s attorney. The record discloses that a hearing was held on this motion a week prior to trial. At the hearing, defendant’s attorney stated that police officers and detectives had refused to discuss the case with him, and had told him that they had been instructed not to discuss it.
