The defendant Neu testified that on or about the 15th day of September, 1945, he was assigned to a position in the drop-forge department of the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation. The new job consisted oí. air-hammer drawing of a spindle, which spindle was to be used on a drive knuckle on the Nash automobile. The piece of metal that was used to make each spindle weighed approximately four or five pounds. Each piece was about two and one-half inches square and about seven inches in length.
