APPEAL from a judgment of the Superior Court of the City and County of San Francisco. George E. Crothers, Judge. Affirmed. The facts are stated in the opinion of the court.

The plaintiff brought this action to recover the purchase price of a quantity of machinery alleged to have been sold by him to defendant Ford, it being alleged that defendants Castleman and Smith were guarantors of the amount due. The sole defense was that plaintiff did not sell the property. Judgment was entered that the plaintiff recover the value of the machinery from the defendant Ford, but take nothing against defendants Castleman and Smith. Plaintiff appeals from that portion of the judgment which denies him relief against the guarantors.
