Plaintiff seeks damages for injury to an eye, which plaintiff contends resulted from improper treatment by defendant. At issue at this stage is whether the matter set forth in an amendment to the complaint filed September 17, 1975 is barred by the statute of limitations. The original complaint was filed June 16, 1971.
