Zane and Josephine Roth appeal the judgment against them in favor of Robert and Elizabeth Lampard. We reverse and remand for a new trial.
In October 1976, Roth purchased a retail market for investment purposes. Lampard undertook management of the store along with Ray Walberg. Roth and Lampard discussed acquisition of an ownership interest by Lampard as additional consideration for his management.
