The defendant, Johnny J. Johnson,

appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-54a (a) and 53a-8 (a), conspiracy to commit murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-54a (a) and 53a-48 (a), and two counts of assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-59 (a) (5) and 53a-8 (a).
