LIARPER, J.
The defendant, Charlie D. Santiago, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a). The defendant claims that (1) prosecutorial misconduct deprived him of a fair trial, and (2) the trial court’s self-defense instruction deprived him of his rights to present a defense and to a fair trial. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
