Alonzo Lax (“Lax”) appeals the district court’s order affirming the decision of the Commissioner of Social Security to deny Lax’s application for social security disability benefits (“SSD”) and supplemental security income benefits (“SSI”) under Titles II and XVI of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 401(a)-(m) and 42 U.S.C. § 1381. Lax contends that the Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”) erred in determining that Lax’s impairment did not meet or medically equal Listing 12.05(B) for mental retardation.
