WALTERS, Chief Judge.

Raymond Fischer appeals from an order of the district court dismissing his claim for damages allegedly caused by a discharge from employment because of his age. Con- • struing Idaho’s former age discrimination act, Title 44, Chapter 16 of the Idaho Code (now repealed) — upon which Fischer’s claim was based — the district court held it did not have original jurisdiction to entertain the claim. On review, we conclude that the district court was correct.
