Petitioner, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), seeks review of a decision by a hearing examiner of the Department of Employment Services (DOES) modifying a prior compensation order issued under the District of Columbia Workers’ Compensation Act, D.C.Code §§ 36-301 to -346 (1997) (the Act).1 WMA-TA argues that the evidence was insufficient to show either a change in the worker’s medical condition or any other circumstances which would support a modification of the award.
