In this ERISA action, the plaintiffs, Copeland Oaks and its employee benefits plan, appeal the district court’s grant of summary judgment to the defendants, Copeland Oaks employee Jeffrey Haupt and his daughter, Brooke. Copeland Oaks brought this suit seeking a declaratory judgment regarding the terms of its medical benefits plan, and the Haupts filed a counterclaim seeking payment.
