EDELSTEIN, Chief Judge.

Before the court for decision are three related motions brought by International Business Machines Corporation, defendant in this antitrust action, to obtain discovery from plaintiff United States relating to its trial witnesses. The first or “document” motion results from plaintiff’s failure to comply with a comprehensive Request for documents concerning those witnesses1 served by IBM pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 34.
