The defendant in error herein, plaintiff below, brought this action in the district court of Beckham county, June 24, 1916,. against the' plaintiffs in error herein, defendants below. The parties will be designated “plaintiff” and “defendant” as in the trial court. The plaintiff alleged that on or about the 3rd day of M!ay, 1915, he was in the employ of the defendant in a machine shop at Chickasha, Okla.; that, by virtue of his employment it became his duty, under the direction of the foreman of the defendant, to lift, or have lifted, a belt cone or pulley, weighing 920 pounds, from the wheel…
