This appeal is from the district court’s order denying summary judgment to the defendants on the basis of qualified immunity. Citing their 1991 arrests for carrying concealed weapons, the plaintiffs, Kenneth Dietrich and Brian Timothy Dietrich, advanced federal constitutional and Ohio state tort claims against the defendants, Richard Burrows, Lloyd Bareus, James Lang, and James Jenkins, all of whom served at relevant times in law enforcement capacities for Perkins Township, Ohio.
