TERRY, Associate Judge.
Malinda Cephas sued the District of Columbia for damages resulting from injuries suffered in a fall in an elevator in her apartment building. 1 The District filed a third-party complaint against General Elevator Company, asking for indemnification under its full service and maintenance contract in the event the District was found liable. The jury returned a verdict against the District for $1,500, on which the court entered judgment.
