OPINION AND ORDER

LOWE, Senior District Judge.

Before the Court is the motion of petitioner Walter Borrego (“Petitioner”), pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (“Section 2255”), to vacate, set aside, or correct his sentence. For the reasons stated below, Petitioner’s motion is granted.

BACKGROUND

In 1990, a federal grand jury indicted Petitioner for engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 848(a), several counts of drug trafficking in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1), and several counts of unlawful possession of a-firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. §…
