These consolidated appeals followed convictions after a jury trial of two counts of armed robbery, 1 two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, 2 and the possession by one of the appellants of a prohibited weapon. 3 Appellant Borrero (Borrero) was sentenced to concurrent terms of twenty years on the armed robbery counts and ten years on the assault counts.
