OPINION

DUGGAN, Justice.

Following a bench trial, the court found appellant, Omar Rickey Green, guilty of unlawfully carrying a weapon and assessed his punishment at 10 days in jail and a $250 fine. We affirm.

While on patrol on November 26, 1991, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Harris County Deputy Sheriff T.J. Bohannon noticed appellant’s vehicle because its license plate appeared to be improperly displayed.
