The Uniform Code of Military Justice provides that our Court “shall review the record in ... all eases reviewed by a Court of Criminal Appeals in which, upon petition of the accused and on good cause shown,” we have granted review. Art. 67(a)(3), UCMJ, 10 USC § 867(a)(3). In the present case, after the Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed his court-martial conviction, appellant petitioned our Court to consider the constitutional and statutory questions raised by his allegations of ineffective assistance by trial defense counsel.
