delivered the opinion of the Court.
A special court-martial composed of a military judge sitting alone convicted appellant, contrary to his pleas, of three specifications of making false official statements, in violation of Article 107, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 907. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for thirty days, and reduction to the pay grade of E-l. The convening authority approved confinement for ten days, the bad-conduct discharge, and reduction to pay grade E-l, and the Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed in an unpublished opinion.
