1. This is a workmen’s compensation case where the referee made an award in favor of the claimant and the board reversed the referee; the court below in turn reversed the board and reinstated the award; this appeal followed.

2. The referee’s principal finding of fact, on which the award was based, is to the effect that claimant, who was employed by defendant as “a chipper in the roll shop,” was injured “December 19, 1922,” in the following manner: “While pressing real hard on the air hammer, the chisel broke and hurt his hand on a piece of wire that he…
