Plaintiff-Appellee Eddie Wooten filed suit against Defendant-Appellant McDonald Transit Associates, Inc. under the *691Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634, alleging discrimination and retaliation. McDonald Transit never answered or defended the suit. The clerk entered default against McDonald Transit, and, after holding' a hearing on damages in which Wooten provided live testimony, the district court entered default judgment for Wooten. McDonald Transit filed a motion to set aside-the default judgment, which the district court denied.…
