LANDAU, J.

The respondent father appeals from the judgments of the trial court terminating his parental rights in two of his five children, R and M.1 On appeal, the respondent father claims that the trial court improperly found that (1) he had abandoned his children, (2) he had failed to achieve rehabilitation and (3) that it was in the best interests of R and M to terminate his parental rights pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to *461995) § 17a-112 (b).2 We affirm the judgments of the trial court.
