FOLTA, District Judge.

Each party seeks the determination of the other’s adverse claim to his mining property situate on Yakobi Island, Alaska, and allegedly containing nickel ore of great value, and, in addition, the defendant seeks damages in the sum of $20,-000,000.

The plaintiff alleges that in October and November 1952, he located 102 claims in full compliance with the requirements of law and that the defendant is asserting an adverse claim to ground embraced within these locations.
