Defendant appeals from a judgment in favor of plaintiff after a verdict in a personal injury action arising out of an intersection collision.

Defendant assigns as prejudicial error the giving of five instructions.

- The accident occurred around 5 p. m. on August 21, 1954, at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Rodeo Road, in the city of Los Angeles. Crenshaw is a six-lane thoroughfare running in a north-south direction, and is approximately 72 feet wide in the area here involved.
