The defendants2 appeal from the trial court’s judgment rendered following the granting of the motion for summary judgment filed by the plaintiff, the board of education of the town and borough of Naugatuck (board). The court’s judgment invalidated certain 1996 amendments to the charter of the town and borough of Naugatuck.
