JOHNSON, Justice.

The issue presented in this appeal is whether the trial court abused its discretion in denying sanctions pursuant to I.R.C.P. 11(a)(1). We conclude that the trial court did not abuse its discretion.

THE BACKGROUND AND PRIOR PROCEEDINGS.

This is the second appeal to this Court in this case. The decision in the first appeal is Durrant v. Christensen, 117 Idaho 70, 785 P.2d 634 (1990) {Durrant I).
