This appeal comes to this court on questions of law from a judgment of guilty of contempt of court of the defendant, Joseph Kres, referred to herein as defendant, for the violation of a temporary restraining order entered in this action on March 12, 1949, restricting picketing "other than peaceably and by not more than two pickets at not more than three designated places in and about the premises" of the plaintiff.

The decree of March 12 also enjoined the defendant Joseph Kres and others, including the United Electrical Radio Machine Workers of America, Local 735, from encouraging or allowing…
