I. INTRODUCTION
This case arises under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq. The plaintiffs, Air Line Pilots Association, International (“ALPA”) and two individual pilots seek an injunction to stop the termination of Trans World Airlines’s (“TWA”) retirement plan for pilots.
