Appeal from an order denying plaintiff’s alternative motion, as amended, for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or for a new trial.

This is an action to recover for the loss sustained from property damage occasioned by a collision between a tractor-trailer unit owned by the plaintiff corporation, and driven- by Leon Thompson, now deceased, and a Ford coach, driven by Charles Reichenbach, defendant’s intestate. The accident occurred on a 20-foot paved highway with good shoulders at about 2:15 in the morning of October 3, 1934. There were but two eyewitnesses to the accident…
