Plaintiffs are the unestranged parents of Kenneth Thomas. They operated as partners a laundry business under the name of Eagle Steam Laundry. In’this business, during 1939 and 1940, their seventeen-year-old son, Kenneth, worked as a truck driver and was paid on the same basis as other employees. He lived at home, paid nothing for board or lodging. No child-labor permit had been obtained and his work was after school hours except during the summer period when he worked steadily.
