This case came before the Supreme Court on February 8, 2012, on appeal by the defendant, Brown University (defendant, Brown, or the University), from a Superior Court judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Beverly Haviland (plaintiff or Ha-viland), in her action for declaratory relief.
